For Computer Playback
1)Download MPC-HC Latest Release
2)Start/Play the movie with MPC
3)Go to View then Options select Playback in Output select madVR and follow settings below
MadVR HDR to SDR: Configured in 2500 NITS and UP / Preserve Hue in 50% High Quality when NITS from 2500 to 4000. Preserve HUE 25% only when using 5000 NITS.
Compressing the highlights when lower NITS than 3700. Restore Details in compressed highlights.
FOR THE MAXIMUM HDR OUTPUT CHOOSE 5000 NITS and Preserve HUE 0%. THIS MAY NEED HDR TV PRESET TO EXPAND LEVELS.
Display Calibration: BT.2020 Gamut and Pure Power Curve 1.80
Color & Gamma: SATURATION: +35 to +75 and BRIGHTNESS +80 to +100
Image Upscaling/Chroma:
Bilinear for Maximum Performance. For Good 4K Upscaling Choose Bicubic150 for both.
FOR HDR TV's Select "Passthrough HDR content to the TV". And choose your HDR TV Preset by the using of MadVR from 2000 to 5000 NITS output.
